CJ's are stiffer than YJ's. by a lot, but they carry a much bigger load also. But arn't as flexy unless you got some heavy heavy axles pulling on them. Thats my 2 cents.
WebJul 10, 2006 · An SOA will clear 35's with either a.) stock springs & a BL or b.) 2" lift springs, but you may still tower the 35's. Basically, the easiest way to tell if it is SOA or SUA, is to see if the springs are uhm... on top of the axle or beneath the axle. 2.)SOA with 4" springs would probably clear 39.5's. WebFeb 3, 2009 · When I went from a POS 4" SUA lift to SOA on factory springs, the increase in flex was substantial, and ride quality was vastly improved. However, my 4" springs were stiff as hell, other brands of better quality should flex better than what I had (BDS, OME, etc....)
